Avie is operated by AVIE TECNOLOGIA LTDA, headquartered in Santo André (SP), Brazil, and serves clinics across Brazil through the avie.me domain. Avie is a technology company: it builds the AI assistant that answers the clinic’s WhatsApp, as well as the portal/CRM and the booking site. It does not provide medical services or telemedicine. It has no corporate or operational relationship with other companies that use the word “Avie” in their name.
The Avie story
A company created inside the routine of a real clinic.
Avie was born from the meeting of artificial intelligence, product building, and the real day-to-day needs of medical care for families.

Avie began at home, with a father and a mother. He is fascinated by artificial intelligence, technology, and product building. She is a pediatric neurologist and child psychiatrist who deals every day with the complexity of caring for families.
The goal was to give the physician more time to care for her patients. To get there, the clinic needed to respond better and be available for more hours without compromising on care. Important information could not be left to improvisation, and the physician’s brand could not get lost in scattered messages.
Every WhatsApp conversation carried an opportunity to welcome people more warmly, guide them clearly, and organize the patient journey. That is where Avie came from: first as a way to solve a real need at home, then as a product for clinics that want to grow with technology without giving up responsibility.
Founded in 2026, Avie still works closely with each of its first partner clinics. The product evolves through real requests, direct feedback, and careful implementation.
Who builds Avie
Giovanni Palmieri is Avie’s founder and owns the product: the architecture, the AI that talks to patients, and the decisions about what the assistant may and may not do on its own. He is the author of the guides published in the Resources section.
Avie runs every day in the practice of a pediatric neurologist and child psychiatrist. That operation sets the product’s limits: the AI gives no clinical advice, makes no diagnosis, and calls in a person whenever the conversation needs one.
Every rule governing the assistant’s behavior exists because a real conversation demanded it. In practice, Avie answers questions about price, address, and available times on its own. When a conversation involves symptoms, a clinical question, or an emergency, it brings in the team.
